We are seeking energetic, innovative, and creative space nerds to join our growing team, who have knowledge of orbit simulation tools as well as trajectory and orbit design. Understanding of radio frequency link budget analysis and trajectory optimization is a plus. The successful candidate will be a member of the Software Testing & Quality Control team, with responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Perform analyses and trade studies
- Evaluate end-to-end software performance
- Perform orbit design studies
- Participate or lead software testing
Interns will use their aerospace engineering background to help test and validate software designed to model complex satellite communications systems and solve analytic problems to improve engineering capabilities. Our interns will work one-on-one with a mid-level engineer to learn the fundamentals of satellite communications engineering and software development.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Pursuing or obtained a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.

Work Schedule & Location
This is a part-time/internship, on-site position in Greenbelt, MD.
Our offices are conveniently located a short shuttle ride from the Greenbelt Metro station, and just 10 minutes away from the University of Maryland, College Park campus.
Start date and work schedule to be negotiated based on academic calendar and candidate’s course schedule.
