Teltrium is looking for a strategic thinker with exceptional engineering and communication skills to join our team. This position supports a range of technical projects that cut across topics relevant to our company and customers, including: spacecraft, ground and space communication networks, and project management.

The ideal candidate will bring engineering experience to the role alongside excellence in generation of products such as reports, trade studies, and technical analyses. Must also be comfortable presenting technical topics clearly and concisely to peers and executive level customer audiences.  Experience in the space sector is highly preferred.  Core task areas include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing technical strategic products (e.g., white papers, technical presentations) to support stakeholder engagement objectives
  • Assisting in integrating larger space policy drivers and initiatives into relevant customer plans and roadmaps
  • Engaging directly with the customer via in-person meetings to understand product requirements and propagate requested changes
  • Applying domain experience to facilitate collaboration between stakeholders with varied backgrounds and equities
  • Coordinating with internal and external teams to gather necessary information
  • Supporting the evolution of a government program to embrace program and project management excellence, efficiency, and data-driven solutions
  • Engaging with mission engineers, working collaboratively to understand mission objectives and CONOPS
  • Measuring and reporting on project outcomes, including communicating findings in reports and briefing materials

 Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree in science/engineering required.  Example degree fields include Electrical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering; Physics and Mathematics

Years of experience: 5+ years, advanced degree in related field and 3+ years, or PhD in related field and 1+ year

Role / Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, working on-site in our Greenbelt, MD office and/or with our customer in Washington, DC.
