We are seeking a meticulous Configuration Manager with a strong background in SharePoint to oversee and maintain all project and product configurations. The ideal candidate will manage configuration management tasks, including configuration identification, control, status accounting, and verification and audit, with a specific focus on SharePoint environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all configuration management activities, including planning, identification, control, status accounting, and audit.
  • Create and implement configuration management plans tailored to SharePoint environments.
  • Identify and document the functional and physical characteristics of configuration items within SharePoint.
  • Control changes to configuration items and their documentation in SharePoint.
  • Provide accurate accounting of configuration item status and configuration change documentation.
  • Conduct configuration management audits to verify compliance with the configuration management plan.
  • Interact with various teams to ensure proper implementation of the configuration management plan.
  • Maintain and manage tools and systems used for configuration management, with a focus on SharePoint.
  • Ensure that all changes to the SharePoint system are recorded, evaluated, approved, and implemented.
  • Track all problems and changes in product documents and report changes and current configuration.
  • Provide input to design and development teams for improvement of system reliability and maintainability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in configuration management, with a focus on SharePoint.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, administration, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Power platform is a plus.
  • Experience with configuration management tools and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
