We are seeking senior or graduate Electrical Engineering students that have taken or are taking network or RF communications classes for our summer internship program. Our internship program offers a unique combination of on-the-job mentoring and hands-on experience in the design and development of a communications modeling suite. The core responsibilities may include:
- Generate communication systems scenarios
- Develop and troubleshoot simulation models
- Run simulations
- Support data analysis activities
- Summer interns will use their engineering background to understand complex satellite communications systems and solve analytic problems to improve engineering capabilities. Our summer intern will work one-on-one with a mid-level engineer to learn the fundamentals of communications engineering.
Qualifications
Education: Juniors or above studying towards a Bachelor’s or graduate-level degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields
Candidates must be US citizens or permanent residents.
Location / Work Schedule
We are conveniently located in Greenbelt, a short shuttle ride from the Metro station, and just 10 minutes away from the University of Maryland, College Park campus. The ideal candidate would be able to work full time at our company’s main office in Greenbelt, MD.
Start date to be negotiated based on academic calendar; opportunities for extension or renewal of employment offer for fall semester based on performance.
